Shakira Walters is the Founding Director of talent development & production organisation, GIRLSofGRIME and Artist Manager to acts signed to Moor Music Management. GIRLSofGRIME is a female-led platform dedicated to raising the profiles of women in music, particularly across the genres of Grime, Rap, RnB, Dancehall and Afro sounds. Building organically online and offline, GIRLSofGRIME has led on various projects including live showcase events, new music releases & DJ workshops and has seen support from PRS Foundation and Arts Council England. An advocate for better gender balance, Shakira works directly with the next generation, carving viable career pathways for artists, DJ's, creatives & executives in our community.
