Des is the co-founder of one of the UK’s first Non-Fungible Token (NFT) creative agencies, Soga World. Des finds himself in a unique position of being an academic (undertaking doctoral legal research at the University of Edinburgh, School of Law) and blockchain enthusiast working in the music business. Soga World created the UK’s first festival NFTs and the first UK NFT ticketed music event. With a deep understanding of how blockchain technology can be adopted to solve issues within the music industry, Des is uniquely positioned to be at the forefront of this revolutionary paradigm shift.
